Eastcote and Ruislip Area Guide
Situated in north west London, Ruislip is a suburban area in the borough of Hillingdon with a population of over 30,000. Ruislip is a relatively quiet place to stay and visit and does indeed have quite a comprehensive range of facilities in the area which include shopping at Ruislip high street, the Ruislip Lido where there is a man made reservoir and home to the Carvery, Premier Inn hotel, as well as the Plough and Orchard pubs.
In terms of dining, there are a good number of restaurants, and for leisure there is a leisure centre in Ruislip/Eastcote village which has a gym and swimming pool as well as a golf course in West Ruislip. The area also has national rail overground trains, and is connected on the Central line.
There are primary and secondary schools in the area as well as in the neighbouring areas. The area is surrounded by green parks, woods, playing fields as well as its own golf course.
Eastcote is a suburb in North West London, and part of the London Borough of Hillingdon. Eastcote comes under the Pinner post town and is considered a peaceful, diverse area with mainly young families. A busy high street with local businesses, banks, pubs, restaurants and bars make Eastcote an attractive area to move to. Eastcote being on both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly Lines is also an attraction for commuters who work in the Central London area.
